These cups are smaller than most store cups (holding between 8 and 10 oz). They are made of stoneware and will take lots of clunks and thumps with no trouble at all. They are dishwasher and microwave safe. The outer surface of the cup is stained, but not glazed, so you can feel the clay. This gives them just a touch of grip for small hands or people needing a little more grip. The inside of each cup is a bright comic book inspired color. Dishwasher, freezer microwave safe.
